Eda Gross arbeitet seit 1980 regelmässig für das Amt für Denkmalpflege und Archäologie des Kantons Zug. Seit 2008 arbeitet sie im Projekt Zug-Riedmatt, u.a. mit dem IPNA, Universität Basel für das Projekt des Schweizerischen Nationalfonds mit dem Titel "Formation and  taphonomy of archaeological wetland deposits: two transdisciplinary case studies and their impact on lakeshore archaeology".
